THERE ARE NO PRE-REQUISITES TO BECOME PART OF ASG

Membership is FREE thanks to our friends at the Structural Engineering Society of NZ (SESOC). All that we ask is that you have a passion for engineering structures and have an interest in seeing or hearing about the work of others... a willingness to share your own experiences is a bonus (we are always looking for projects to present!). Your details are never shared to marketing teams etc. and ASG is run by engineers as a voluntary organisation for the benefit of engineering in NZ.

ASG accepts membership from:

  • Engineering students
  • Designers
  • Contractors
  • Operators
  • Clients

    Hi,

I am currently studying for a Masters of Structural Engineering in Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am travelling to New Zealand for June, July and August, and will be around Auckland for June and July. I am hoping to further my knowledge of Engineering before heading back to the UK, and was wondering if you had any meetings / conferences during this period which I could attend?

    Kind regards,

    Robert McCullough

Hi Robert. Yes we typically have events every month and its free to attend. Best way to stay in touch is to register your email address with ASG by signing up for free membership and you will receive an email every time a new event is posted. The email will also explain how to register for the event. Apologies if you have already tried this with no luck (through May 2016 our membership forms developed a glitch… all back up and working now!):

We also have good video clips of recent events that could also be of interest.

    Hope this helps.
We look forward to seeing you.

    Dan
(Apologies for the delay in responding. I have been travelling through S.E.Asia.)
