Abstract
An interactive evening with Andrew Boyd, Senior Building Consent Project Manager for Auckland Council, who will cover why, who and how to delivery requirements of the Building Code B1 in regards to AS/NZS 5131 Structural steelwork - Fabrication & Erection. Auckland Council have recently released guidance to assist applicants who intend on making a building consent application which involves the use of structural steel to determine the appropriate compliance path and to understand the evidence requirements needed for their application. Bring along your questions and take part in the discussion.
Biography
Andrew Boyd is a Principal Project Lead of Building Consents at Auckland Council. His role includes deliverables in the strategic and tactical PMO building consent process and advising on some of Auckland’s largest projects on regulatory requirements.
