University of Auckland, School of Engineering, room: ENG 3.404 Abstract:The use of the buckling-restrained bracing system (BRB) in building structures is growing and gaining popularity. These structures are emerging across the country, and are taking over as the system of choice for many engineering offices. Nearly 500 projects have utilized the system to date.
